My Mate BigD, at Dalwhinnie...if you hadn't guessed.
Small houses at Killin. It seems all the rural houses are tiny cottages like this, and painted white...or at least light colours.
Clachaig Inn. The mountains behind are part of Glencoe.
Loch Lochy. The A82 is a busy road and passes Loch Ness, but I reckon THIS is the most beautiful part of the road.
A Large Catamaran heading West in the Fort Augustus Locks .
The large lock gates in Fort Augustus.
Some of the lads at the Five Sisters Viewing Point. Breathtaking is a Cliche...that somehow works here. Worth the small detour off the A87.
The Queue for the Armadale to Mallaig Ferry. It's not a real holiday if there's not been a ferry involved somewhere.
The bikes are (not so) carefully strapped down. Wouldn't like to try this on a stormy sea...
The Beach at Invercaimbe Campsite with it's white sands. The clouds and the camera don't really tell how glorious it was there.
Glenfinnan Monument and Loch Shiel. A good place to stop and catch your breath along "The Road To The Isles"
It's that BIG black scary and cute wooly cow again.
The scruffy and ripped seats in the so-called "waiting room" for the Luing (pronounced "Ling") Ferry.
2 presumably very bored kids sat on the harbour wall at Toberonochy Harbour.
The postal van on Luing island is also the school bus...and probably the ambulance and fire engine too...
The ramp to the shoreline as seen from the Ferry
The View from the Luing Ferry
A Sailing Ship in Oban Harbour
How the hell do you get your tyre to look like THIS on the public roads! Not mine I hasten to add...my chicken strips are an inch wide.
The Vehicle deck of the Armadale to Mallaig Ferry, awaiting vehicles.
The Ferry LochNevis from Caledonian MacBrayne, In Mallaig Harbour.
One of the locks at Gairlochy
Ben Nevis rising from the landscape. Must go up there one day...wonder if I can take the bike?

The Scottish Trip 2010 - The Dalwhinnie and Pitlochry Loop
Ren rides out with the boys across the Scottish Highlands. There's a scare, some thrills but more than anything else there's beauty and space in abundance.
The Scottish Trip 2010 - Portree And The Kyle Of Lochalsh Loop
The Scottish Highlands provide and stunning backdrop to a fabulous ride.
The Scottish Trip 2010 - Strontium and The White Sands at Arisaig
The Scottish Trip 2010 - Remote Isle of Luing
Luing provides Ren and BigD with a much more sedate and peaceful day's ride than the previous frantic trips. And relax.
