Great Link To Visordown
Blog Date - 06 April 2017
Just browsing the net as ya do I came across this article on Visordown.com. I must say this puts forwards some refreshingly frank and thought provoking notions, most of which I agree with. Anyhow have a look and decide for yourself.

Visordown used to be an excellent site, and the Survival Skills forum (which seems to have vanished) taught me a lot about riding modern bikes having managed somehow for 40 years or so previously. I came across it around 2005 when I first had my Hinckley Tiger, but it had gone drastically downhill after 10 years or so. Maybe this is the fate of all motorcycling websites........
The host of that forum, Kevin Williams (aka Spin Doctor) now hosts a similar forum on the Revcounter: Staying Alive (link below). There are loads of very experienced riders there with a leavening of idiots (but not too many) and of course some obsessives. Discussions quite often end up wandering massively off topic but staying interesting nevertheless. I recommend a visit.

I'll have a gand er through there Ian - thanks. I am pondering the idea of doing some basic riding skills posts. Nothing too advanced but perhaps some handy tips and things to look out for.
