Fazer FZS 600 Amazing Fuel Consumption

On a long trip...on a Fazer 600...keeping the speeds down to 60mph and following lorries on the motorway...I achieved 79.5mpg!!!!
Now THAT is impressive. Boring...long...tiresome...slow and dull...but impressive...

Well done. I enjoy riding my motorbikes and find mpg an important part of it. My Fzs600 seems to do 54-56mpg, which isn't bad, but it must be difficult to resist the temptation to use the bikes power. One day I shall try this with my own Fazer and see how it compares.
BTW, do you still have your Fazer?

Nope...afraid not. After 4.5 years of good solid service I decided I needed a change. And because MPG is an important part of motorcycling to me I have purchased a Honda CBF 250. This gives me 90 MPG all day.

Shame. Fazers are great bikes. I ride a Honda Innova too that returns 140-150+mpg and its great, as close to free motoring as you can get. Do you have a blog to follow with your CBF?
