125 MOT Passed
Blog Date - 14 May 2011
Wahooo!! The 125's passed it's MOT. I didn't think it was going to. The exhaust pipe needed to be filled with bog to stop it blowing, the fork seals leak and to cap it all off the rear brake light switch went dodgy on arrival.
The exhaust was bogged, the seals were cleaned and thoroughly dried before I took the bike for it's MOT. The rear brake switch was jiggled and waggled until the examiner was happy that it was working. And my certificate was issued after I was relieved of £25. Now the bike has almost 13 months of MOT! Yippeeee. It's at times like this I wonder whether I should sell it before yet another thing goes wrong. Problem is I'm too damn honest, I couldn't stand there and tell some fellow biker the bike's "right" when I know how much bodging and tinkering the bike's had. It's hardly a minter anymore.
So with over 30,000 miles on it I guess the poor little CLR 125 has got another year of suffering to endure with me. Poor thing.
